The Davidson County Government Located In City Of Lexington, North Carolina Is Seeking A Dynamic, Detail-oriented Individual To Join Its Leadership Team. Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing And Directing The All Operations Related To The County Attorney’s Office. This Includes But Is Not Limited To Performing Professional Legal Work In Support Of The Board Of Commissioners, And Other Boards And Departments For The County. Individual Is Responsible For Supervising Two Assistant County Attorneys And Two Paralegals. Department Of Social Services’ (DSS) Attorneys Report To The Director Of Social Services, As Day To Day Operations Of DSS Legal Staff Are Managed By The Department Director. Salary range $140,000-$180,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

Education and Experience: Doctoral degree from a recognized school of law and at least three years of progressively responsible professional legal experience, preferably in a local government setting. 

Licenses and Certifications: Licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina. Successful completion of State Bar required 12 hours of annual CLE credits. Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver License. ​
